WELCOME!
Welcome to the 96th year of the Northwestern Michigan Fair! As a
child growing up on a family dair farm, the fair always marked the end of a long summer of growing and harvesting crops.
Everyone would bring the best of their harvest and their livestock to show and compete for the grand champion titles.
Today not much has changed in the competition taking plcae among the exhibitors and that is what maked the fair such a tratiodtio
for the yong and old alike. Througout the whole week there will be many livestock competitions taking place in the livestock
area amongst the 4-Her's, which always proves to be very satisfying to watch.
This year the Board of Directors have been working on an exciting schedule
of eventswith Harness Racing opening the fair and the crowd pleasing tough Trucks closing the fair on Saturday night. Included
in the grandstand events will be Tractor Pulls, Demolition Derby and the Moto Cross for everyone's enjoyment.
Once again Arnold Amusements will be hosting the carnival with all of the
rides and games that many people love to ride or test their skills at playing.
The board of directors and I personally invite you to come tothe fair
and see for yourself why so many people look forward to fair time. Once again, welcome to the 2004 Northwestern Michigan Fair!
